New Bowl Fillers & Ornies

Hi! 

For the first time in what feels like FOREVER ~ I've actually been super busy creating stuff this week!!  I've got tons of WIPs laying around ~there is salt dough all over my house! lol  

Here's the new bowl fillers & ornies I have completed though.

I'm also trying to finish up a new punch needle I started & a Santa head.  I feel like I'm all over the place ~ while my salt dough has been cooking or paint has been drying ~ I've been sewing or punching! It feels good to be making stuff again ~ I felt like I was in a rut!

I'm behind on my blog reading but hopefully I can catch up with everyone this weekend.  My aunt is taking Cody to a Lego event on Saturday in Cleveland (about 2 hrs from here).  He's going to be so excited!! I'm not telling him till tomorrow night because I know it'll kill him to have to wait to go! He's a major Lego fan! We're actually having a Lego birthday party for him in 2 weeks ~ his first "friends from school only" party! lol

Well I think I'm done rambling for now ~ I'm off to start supper.  Hope everyone has a wonderful evening!

Ornie & Bowl Filler Update

Hi!

 I just wanted to do a quick post & let everyone know that all my ornies and bowl fillers can be mixed & matched with each other.  Also if there is any special kinds you might be wanting but don't see, please don't hesitate to ask me ~ I might be able to make them for you.  I hope to get some Christmas started next week too.

Oh, also any of the bowl fillers can be made into ornies too.  :)

A thank you & some scary stuff!

Hi! I wanted to drop in & share a few things with you today.  First are some birthday goodies from a great blogging friend .... Ms. Carmen from Primcats! She made a stop over at Lil Raggedy Angie's last night, so I headed on over to visit too!  Look at the goodies she brought me for my birthday!

I just LOVE them all & feel very special that she thought of me.  Thanks again Carmen! You rock!!

I also thought I'd share my outside decorating with you today too.  I was wanting to go for more of just a "fall" theme instead of Halloween but Cody really likes the scarecrows we've made so I said "oh, well!" & got busy!  It's hard to get good pics of it all together but you get the point.

~mr.frankenstein got a makeover this year ~ he did have a foam face but it was looking bad so he got a new pumpkin head instead ~ he looks much better now! lol

(the pumpkin was a purple one i found for .25 cents & i painted it black then orange to give it the streaky look)

~i made this little ghost -actually made 3 of them ~ I just balled up some plastic grocery bags & wrapped some scrap fabric around the posts that were already in my flower beds (1 was a lil bird & one was a post w/a star-i took the star off to use the post) & tied them with some twine - they are my favorite thing outside (I think I might be board line obsessed with ghosts this year! lol)

I want to still get some pumpkins & maybe some corn stalks.  Maybe after Halloween I'll change out the scarecrows & just decorate my window boxes.  We'll have to wait & see how ambitious I am by then! lol

I'm seeing stars and sheep and crows!!!

Hi everybody!! I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer ~ it's almost back to school time (I can't believe it!!) Code starts school next Wednesday so we have 8 more days of sleeping in before we have to get back in the swing of things.  I'll admit I'm sad & a little happy both to see the summer end.  I LOVE the fall ~it's my favorite time of the year~ but I will miss spending the day with Code.  Oh, well!! It'll be Christmas break before we know it!! lol

Anyways ~ I've been busy trying to get a few things together for a last minute craft show my sis Angie signed up for.  She's been nice enough to let me put my stuff in her booth so I've been trying to actually get some stuff done :O).  Here's part of what I've gotten done so far:

New Bowl Fillers

Hi!! I wanted to share some new salt dough bowl fillers I've finished up in the last few days....I've gone crazy with salt dough again!! lol

Warning -Picture Heavy Post Ahead!

Good morning! I'm happy to report that while my ear is still pretty clogged up, my head is finally starting to de-clog! Yippee! I went to the doctor on Wednesday & she said I had a severe sinus infection & gave me some antibiotics.  Who knew a sinus infection could kick your butt so bad?!?! Yesterday was the first day I cleaned my house in almost two weeks~it took me twice as long to do with all my breaks but it's done! Lol My hubby tells me I have "issues" about cleaning ~ I just like a clean house ~I get annoyed when it starts getting crusty, that's all. He's a man & his "crusty" level is different than mine! lol

I got some more signs painted yesterday & a few wooden pieces my sis has left me to paint for her. Here's the pile I need to stain today.

I'm going to add some stakes to these for the yard - think I'm going to try to sell @ craft show in a couple of weeks

I also finished up a few more salt dough bowl fillers - I made these flowers & some more daisies. It took me all week to finish them ... lol I have a crow & pig cookie cutter on the way ~I can't wait to make some bowl fillers from those!!! I free handed a few crows the other day & it took me FOREVER! I was very happy I found a cookie cutter on ebay!

Here's some pics of the signs I started a few weeks ago ~ I finally got hangers on them all. I'm going to take these to the craft show too.

I almost forgot! Cody's musical was really cute on Tuesday! All the kids did such a great job! It was hard to get a really good picture of him ~ the girl in front of him was kind of tall but here's a few pics of my lil man. I was one proud momma!

he had two speaking parts ~ he did really good ~ the last one was a lil hard to hear ~the crowd was getting hot & mumbling (I wasn't amused with them! lol)
