Bathroom redo before

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Monday! I am just taking a break from stripping wallpaper in my bathroom to stop in & say hi! 

I thought I'd show you my "before" pics of my bath & hopefully in a few days I'll have some after pics to share too! lol

Our bathroom is tiny so I'm hoping it won't take me to long to redo it ~ although as I'm going along I keep thinking of things I want to change! We'll just have to wait & see if & what actually happens! lol

 I've been daydreaming on the internet about bathrooms all weekend. I've become addicted to pintrest too!! I know I'm behind on the craze & all but at least now I know what the craze is all about! 

Well I'm off to scrape some more - I want to patch tonight & paint tomorrow.

The lego party

Happy Saturday!!

I wanted to do a little post on Cody's Lego party that we had today.  He had 4 friends come over to play & I must say they were quite rowdy bunch but it was lots of fun.  Our pinata was a success ~ it didn't last nearly as long as I thought it would but we didn't hang it high engough & the boys could hit it from the top. Oh well...they still had fun.  We also played pin the "dot" on the lego block & then we had a contest to see who could put their little lego sets we had bought together the fastest.  I think all the kids had a good time.  I'm pooped now! lol

Hi! I hope everyone is enjoying their week! Mine has flown by again ~ I've been super busy planning Cody's birthday party for Saturday & working on some salt dough.  I wanted to share a few ornies & bowl fillers I didn't share yet.  Hopefully next week I can start some other stuff & start getting ready to decorate for Christmas.  I've really enjoyed seeing everyone's homes who have already started ...such great inspiration!

I hope everyone has a great rest of their day.  I'm off to paint a pinata for our party! :O)

OLM ornie swap box has arrived!!!

I recently participated in OLM's ornie swap & my box arrived this weekend!! I must say ALL the ornies I received are just prim perfect!  They have put me in a Christmas mood ~ I even thought about getting the tree out this weekend but the hubby said I have to wait till after Thanksgiving!! :( lol That's the rule around our house every year which is probably good since our house is so tiny I usually take it down the day after Christmas as it is since I'm sick of it taking up so much room!! lol

For the first time in what feels like FOREVER ~ I've actually been super busy creating stuff this week!!  I've got tons of WIPs laying around ~there is salt dough all over my house! lol

I'm also trying to finish up a new punch needle I started & a Santa head.  I feel like I'm all over the place ~ while my salt dough has been cooking or paint has been drying ~ I've been sewing or punching! It feels good to be making stuff again ~ I felt like I was in a rut!

I'm behind on my blog reading but hopefully I can catch up with everyone this weekend.  My aunt is taking Cody to a Lego event on Saturday in Cleveland (about 2 hrs from here).  He's going to be so excited!! I'm not telling him till tomorrow night because I know it'll kill him to have to wait to go! He's a major Lego fan! We're actually having a Lego birthday party for him in 2 weeks ~ his first "friends from school only" party! lol

Well I think I'm done rambling for now ~ I'm off to start supper.  Hope everyone has a wonderful evening!
