A little crafting & a little bragging

Happy Friday all!!

I wanted to do a quick post to brag a little about my little man. Last night was parent teacher conferences...I wasn't really worried his teacher would have anything BAD to say about Cody but I didn't know for sure... Turns out my little man is doing GREAT at everything!!! He's reading above his grade level (1/2 way for 2nd grader & he's only in 1st!) -doing great in math- good behavior-helpful, etc, etc!!! I was so happy! The teacher said there isn't anything he needs to improve upon -just to keep up the good work! I am one proud momma!!

Ok enough braggin ... lol

Cody is home today -they are having more teacher conferences this morning so the kiddos got to stay home (like they needed another day with all the snow/flood days we've been having! lol) I got quite a few things painted last night so today I'm going to finish them up (sand/stain).  I did finish up a little spring welcome sign I had started last night :

My hubby cracks me up - when I showed him he asked me "Did you make that all by yourself? Like the can & all?" He was amazed! It was funny! You'd think after 6 years of my crafty stuff he'd realize that I can come up with all kinds of surprises! LOL I think I'm going to try to sell some stuff on Etsy ...if anyone has any pointers I'd be glad to hear them.  I can't keep all my stuff I make!

It's raining again here in central Ohio but I'm not going to let it ruin my day! I'm off to craft & clean.  I hope everyone has a great Friday!
