The lego party

Happy Saturday!!

I wanted to do a little post on Cody's Lego party that we had today.  He had 4 friends come over to play & I must say they were quite rowdy bunch but it was lots of fun.  Our pinata was a success ~ it didn't last nearly as long as I thought it would but we didn't hang it high engough & the boys could hit it from the top. Oh well...they still had fun.  We also played pin the "dot" on the lego block & then we had a contest to see who could put their little lego sets we had bought together the fastest.  I think all the kids had a good time.  I'm pooped now! lol
Here's a few pictures of the fun.

Cody's lego ninja cake ~I actually made it all by myself & I was very amused ~usually my cakes are terrible :O)

pile of legos on the kitchen table waiting for the boys to arrive to build with them

the boys checking out their loot from the pinata ~ I tried to get some pictures of them hitting the pinata but they were all blurry :(

It was a good day!

I hope you've enjoyed your Saturday.  Thanks for letting me show off my Lego party.  Hopefully next week I'll have something crafty to share. :O)

Very cool boy party! Love the pinata and the cake!! My son LOVED legos at that age - he would have gone nuts over a party like that! I still have legos falling out of the closet - tried to save some of the last creations he made and well, they sorta have gotten knocked over and parts have come off - and I have no clue how to put them back together! Have a great Sunday! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin (Any cake left???) ;o)
